Design partner FAQ

Everything about the 90-day design partner program.

Practical details for investigators considering cohort one.

What is InsightsNexus?

A local-first investigation workspace. You create entities, map connections on a graph canvas, and run transforms against open sources: domain analysis, WHOIS, subdomain enumeration, username search, email verification, IP geolocation, port scanning, and more. It is built to keep case work inside your existing investigation environment instead of forcing a cloud workspace for case data.

It is built for people who do investigative work and produce deliverables for clients, editors, internal stakeholders, case files, or security teams.

What is the design partner program?

A 90-day cohort for 8-10 working practitioners. Participants get free access, use the product on real investigations or realistic active workflows, and join a 30-minute feedback call every two weeks.

What does it cost?

Access is free during the 90-day program. There is no payment required to participate and no obligation to become a customer afterward.

What do I get?

Free access for 90 days, direct founder access, fast response on bugs and workflow blockers, early access to improvements, and visible influence on the roadmap. If the product is worth continuing after the program, design partners will have founding-member pricing available.

What do I commit to?

Use InsightsNexus on at least one real investigation or realistic active workflow. Join a 30-minute call every two weeks for 90 days. Share honest feedback when the product gets in the way, report bugs or confusing workflows as they happen, and discuss at the end whether the product is worth paying for.

Who is this for?

The program is for practitioners doing investigative work: investigative journalists, corporate investigators, due diligence analysts, fraud and AML practitioners, threat intelligence analysts, and government or law-enforcement investigators where appropriate.

The strongest fit is someone who has recently felt the pain of fragmented notes, evidence, entity graphs, transforms, and reporting workflows.

Is my investigation data sent to InsightsNexus?

The product is designed as a local-first workflow. Investigation data stays on your machine, and no cloud workspace is required for case data. Outbound product traffic is limited to transforms you trigger against public sources, as long as that remains accurate in the shipped build.

The app is intended to work inside your existing VM, VPN, proxy, or hardened investigation environment. Read the security and data-handling notes for the current public summary.

What does the website collect when I apply?

The current public form collects the email address you submit and sends it through the site's mailing-list provider so I can follow up about the cohort. The site also loads privacy-focused analytics to understand basic page traffic. See the privacy policy for details.

Why only 8-10 practitioners?

The useful part of a design partner program is close feedback, not a big waitlist. A small cohort makes it possible to respond quickly to bugs, understand workflow blockers, and let participants influence the roadmap directly.

What happens after 90 days?

I'll use the feedback to decide what needs to change before broader release. At the end, we'll discuss whether the product is worth paying for. You can continue with founding-member pricing if you want, or walk away with no obligation.

Who is building it?

InsightsNexus is being built by Marco Mendiola. The focus is OSINT and investigative workflows because the current middle ground between do-it-yourself scripts and expensive enterprise tooling is still too thin for many working practitioners.
